RELEVANT PROJECTS

Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) - Rental Car Facility and MIC Terminal Access Roadways - Performed extensive
geotechnical explorations including soil test borings, rock coring and laboratory testing for foundation analysis and
design recommendations for Rental Car Facility and Roadway Bridge Structures for construction project.

Tri-Rail Double Track Corridor Improvements, Segment 5 Design/Build Project - Principal Geotechnical Engineer
for the extensive geotechnical exploration for this 71. 7 mile commuter rail project. The project includes new
mainline trackage, 2 new stations, and numerous new bridges for canal crossings.

Jewfish Creek Bridge over Intra Coastal Waterway, Key Largo - Principal Geotechnical Engineer for the extensive
geotechnical exploration for this high level 8000 foot 4-1ane highway bridge over the Intra Coastal Waterway.
MACTEC is performing over-water soil/rock core borings using a barge in order to provide foundation design
information. Laboratory testing of rock core samples will be performed to obtain rock strengths for foundation
analysis. MACTEC is also performing slope stability analyses for earth embankments supported on subsurface soils
improved by soil mixing. MACTEC will perform inspection of the project foundation construction and will monitor
the foundation load testing, including quality control inspections for various phases of the construction.

NW 5th Street Bridge Replacement, Miami - Principal Geotechnical Engineer for the geotechnical exploration of the
150 foot bascule bridge replacement over the Miami River, approach embankments, bulkheads and approach
roadways. MACTEC is performing over-water and on-land soil and rock core borings in order to provide foundation
design information. Laboratory analysis is being performed on rock core and soil samples to obtain information for
foundation analysis and pavement design.

MacArthur Causeway Bridge, Miami . Principal Geotechnical Engineer for the extensive geotechnical exploration
for this high level 4-1ane highway bridge over the Intra Coastal Waterway. Geotechnical services included over
water drilling, soil test borings and rock coring. High capacity drilled shaft foundations were recommended for this
structure.

Miami Downtown People Mover, Brickell and Omni Extensions - Principal geotechnical engineer for both the Omni
and Brickell sections of the Miami People Mover Extensions and has extensive experience with geotechnical
explorations for elevated guideway systems. The Omni Extension consists of 1.5 miles of elevated light rail people
mover. This extension crossed Interstate Highway 1-395 and had several passenger stations. Client: Parsons
Brinkerhoff, Quade and Douglas, Inc. Project Manager: Mr. Bill Anido, P.E. The Brickell Extension has 1.2 miles of
elevated light trail People Mover System. This system has a major river crossing and several passenger stations.

Port of Miami Tunnel, Miami - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began the PD&E study for a
vehicular traffic tunnel connecting Interstate Highway 1-395 on Watson Island with the Port of Miami located on
Dodge Island. The proposed tunnel was to be approximately 0.6 miles in length and pass beneath the main shipping
channel of the port and the present cruise ship terminal on the north side of the Port of Miami. The purpose of the
tunnel was to provide alternate access to the Port and to relieve heavy truck traffic congestion from the surface
streets of downtown Miami.

Mr, McDaniel was the Principal Geotechnical Engineer for MACTEC's evaluation of the subsurface conditions along
the Port of Miami Tunnel alignment. This evaluation consisted of deep soil test borings with rock coring at locations
along the alignment. Soil borings were performed on land on Dodge Island and Watson Island as well as over water
in the Port channel. MACTEC's services included determining the subsurface soil/rock conditions as they related to
tunnel, immerse tube, and cut and cover construction. Lab testing included unconfined compression testing of the
rock cores as well as soil classification testing.

STANDARD FORM 330 (6/2004)
