Dry Soil Mixing is a method of using in situ soils to build <br />embankments for roads in marsh environments, without the use of surcharge. In charge of verifying proper <br />installation of soil mixing and subsequent testing and approval of final product, to ensure adherence to normal <br />roadway standards. <br /> <br />Staff Engineer: Florida Department of Transportation Miami Intermodal Center (MIC), Miami, Florida - Performed <br />axial capacity analysis of drilled shafts and driven piles using FB Deep. Conducted utility clearance and <br />coordinated laboratory testing. Classified soil samples collected during the geotechnical exploration and assisted in <br />preparing the Core Boring Sheet. <br /> <br />Staff Engineer: Florida Department of Transportation 5th Street Bridge Replacement - Performed axial capacity <br />analysis of drilled shafts and driven piles using FB Deep. Conducted utility clearance and coordinated laboratory <br />testing.
