BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT <br /> <br />N.W. 25th Street from N.W. 87 Avenue to N.W. 67 Avenue <br />is a major reconstruction project. Marlin Engineering is the <br />prime consultant leading the final design of one of the <br />most important projects in Florida. This project will provide <br />the necessary ground access to the Miami International <br />Airport West Cargo Area. NW. 25th Street will be <br />reconstructed to a six-lane urban section with a wide <br />median and dual left turn lanes. A four-lane, two-way <br />elevated roadway (viaduct) will be providing additional <br />capacity. This project is ranked as the highest priority <br />project on the Governor's list of projects to improve <br />economic development in Florida. <br /> <br />The surveying services for this project included <br />topography, digital terrain modeling, vertical control <br />verification, and reestablishment of points from Project <br />Network Control. <br /> <br />The scope of services included full design surveying for <br />the reconstruction and cross sections of N.W. 25 Street in <br />Miami-Dade County, Florida. <br /> <br />25.
