BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TOT HIS CONTRACT (Include SCOp€, size, and cost)

Fees Earned: $250,000

MACTEC is conducting fieldwork, assessment, modeling, GIS infrastructure development and. masterplanning
studies for a water, sewer and stormwater masterplanning effort being conducted for the University of Miami in
Coral Gables, FL. MACTEC is currently conducting field work which will include survey grade data gathering of
the sanitary sewer system at UM. This work includes data gathering for existing manholes, sewer pipes, valves,
lift stations, etc. The field effort will require MACTEC to also accurately assess the field conditions of the sanitary
system by providing field notes on the O&M of the system, photographs and note any delinquent condition based on
common acceptable practices and conditions (including ASCE standards, WASA standard and FDEP
requirements). A representative amount of gravity sanitary sewer is also being CSTVed and documented for
present condition. The specific pipe lengths to be CSTVed have been determined by assessing the as-built
drawings, by interviews of knowledgeable UM maintenance staff and conditions found in the initial field
assessment work.

Based on the evaluation of the field data, MACTEC is presently developing for UM an updated Sanitary Sewer
Data Collection GIS database. MACTEC will be required to collect and field verify "As-built" present conditions of
the entire UM sanitary sewer system. MACTEC is to review any available drawings of the UM sanitary system,
locate all known and available manholes and sewer pipes, record all pertinent information about the manhole and
sewer pipes so that the data can be linked to the UM GIS database. This data is being collected also for a sanitary
sewer modeling effort that UM has asked MACTEC to begin in the spring of 2007. Additional task associated with
water, sewer and storm water masterplanning are presently being developed. MACTEC expects additional fieldwork
and modeling of these all three of these systems to be conducted by MACTEC in the spring and summer of2007.

25, FIRMS FROI'" SECTION C INVOLVED WITH THIS PROJECT

II
II
II

(I) fiRM NAME
MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc.

(21 rlRH I OCATIUN (City and ~.I"le!
Gainesville, FL

(2) ROLE
Prime

(1) FIHM N"ME
MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc.

1,2) FIF:r,1 LOCA11()N ICity i'llld Stat""
Miami, FL

(3) ROLl:
Prime

(1, FIHf.1 rJt.,MI:

121 FIR'vl L()CAIIC,N !City wle St81€)

(3) ROLE

II '" """"'.M'

(;,) FIR\~ I OCi'.TIOI'J (City alld Stale)

(2) ROi F

ST ANDARD FORM 330 (01?OCH)

,MACfEC

engineering ond constructing 0 better tOmorrow
