<br />secure the approval of the departments or appeal the denial for review by <br /> <br />the City Commission. Where multifamily, hotel, motel and apartment <br /> <br />hotel developments consist of two (2) or more structures, unless each such <br /> <br />structure is located on a site meeting all standards of this district, the area <br /> <br />shall be restricted to unified ownership or control by unity of title or <br /> <br />covenant running with the land. <br /> <br />The following definitions shall supercede any and all other definitions of <br /> <br />the same terms found in this code: <br /> <br />(a) Apartment hotel. A hotel which has been subdivided as to <br /> <br />ownership in any manner. A management company shall manage <br /> <br />the building at all times and shall submit to the City's Zoning and <br /> <br />Planning Departments an annual report Wldef delineating lease and <br /> <br />rental activities for each unit within the building by June 30th of <br /> <br />each year. Failure to file this report shall result in a fine of $500 <br /> <br />and an audit by the City. <br /> <br />(b) Hotel. A building in which lodging, or boarding and lodging, are <br /> <br />provided as the more or less temporary residence of individuals <br /> <br />who are lodged therein and in which ingress and egress to and <br /> <br />from all rooms are made through an inside lobby supervised by a <br /> <br />person in charge at all times. Hotels are unsubdivided as to <br /> <br />ownership, managed by a single entity and open to the public on a <br /> <br />transient basis with no unit therein occupied by the same tenant or <br /> <br />group of tenants in excess of six months within any twelve-month <br /> <br />099-63 RU-4A Article XIX Amendment 3/5/99-10119/00 I :49 PM draft <br />Page 3 of 41 <br />
