<br />part of the terms under which the variance is granted, shall be deemed a <br />violation of these LDRs and grounds for revocation of the variance. <br /> <br />505.9 EJq)iration of Approval. The approval of a variance shall be void if the <br />recipient does not obtain a building permit or other development order for <br />the proposed use within twenty-four (24) months after the granting of the <br />variance. An applicant who has obtained approval of a variance may <br />request an extension of this time period by filing, prior to expiration within <br />the 24-month period, a letter stating the reasons for the request. The City <br />Commission may, by resolution at a regular meeting grant one extension <br />for good cause shown by the applicant <br /> <br />505.10 Amendments and Alterations to Approved Variances: <br /> <br />505.10.1 Except as provided under section 505.10.2 herein below, any <br />expansion of an approved variance shall require the same <br />application, review and approval as required under the procedures <br />set forth under Section 505.7 herein above. <br /> <br />505.10.2 Minor changes in the site plan or design details of an approved <br />variance which do not result in additional external impacts, such <br />as a minor shift in the location of a building or structure, the <br />realignment of parking spaces and aisles, the relocation of a <br />driveway and the like, and landscape changes may be approved <br />by the City Manager or his designee without obtaining additional <br />approvals. . The determination of whether a change is deemed <br />minor is in the sole discretion of the City Manager or his <br />designee. Such minor changes will be submitted at building <br />permit application in the form of a revised site plan along with a <br />copy of the originally approved site plan, clearly indicating the <br />proposed minor changes.
