<br />A-Oll <br /> <br />Building Department Fee Schedule <br /> <br />Other agencies including, but not limited to, the <br />Department of Environmental Resources <br />Management (DERM), Miami-Dade Fire Rescue <br />Department, Building Code Compliance Office and <br />the Florida Department of Health may assess fees <br />on building permits, including re-application on <br />expired permits (contact the applicable agencies <br />for details). <br /> <br />5. SPECIAL PROJECTS: <br /> <br />A fee equal to actual staff time and related costs shall <br />be assessed for special projects requiring research by <br />the Building Department in order to answer questions <br />proposed by developers, attorney's, realtors, or <br />municipalities, and others, in connection with the use, <br />re-subdivision, and development of properties, or <br />determination if any violations exist on the property <br />through a review of departmental records. Such <br />special fee will only be levied for requests outside the <br />scope of normal departmental work. A minimum fee <br />shall be charged, a fee equal to $2.00 per page shall <br />be assessed for pre-programmed computer reports on <br />Building Department records. The minimum fee shall <br />be $50.00. <br /> <br />6. GENERAL INFORMATION: <br /> <br />X-OOl <br /> <br />(a)A fee charged per square foot will be added to $ 0.01 <br />building permits for the State of Florida to study <br />building code requirements for radon gas, and <br />certification and regulation of building code <br />administrators, plans examiners and inspectors. <br /> <br />(b)A six percent (6%) fee of the total permit fee will <br />be added to original fees where a concurrency <br />review was performed. <br /> <br />Buildin~1 Department Fee Schedule - rev. 2/05 <br /> <br />Page 5 of 33 <br />
