<br />'Nhen the data is not available from any source as in paragraph (1) of this section, all ne''v <br />subdivision proposals and other proposed developments (including proposals for <br />manufactured home parks and subdivisions) greater than 50 lots or 5 acres, 'Nhichever is the <br />lesser, shall be required to include within such proposals base flood elevation data. <br /> <br />(1) Require standards of Article 5. Section A. <br /> <br />(2) Require that all new subdivision proposals and other proposed developments (including <br />proposals for manufactured home parks and subdivisions) greater than 50 lots or 5 acres. <br />whichever is the lesser. include within such proposals base flood elevation data. Standards <br />set forth in Article 5. Section B shall apply. <br /> <br />(3) The Floodplain Administrator shall obtain. review. and reasonably utilize any base flood <br />elevation and floodway data available from a Federal. State of Florida. or any other source. <br />in order to administer the provisions of this ordinance. When such data is utilized. <br />provisions of Article 5. Section B shall apply. The Floodplain Administrator shall: <br /> <br />a) Obtain the elevation (in relation to the mean sea level) of the lowest floor (including the <br />basement) of all new and substantially improved structures. <br /> <br />b) Obtain. if the structure has been floodproofed in accordance with the requirements of <br />Article 5. Section B (2). the elevation in relation to the mean sea level to which the <br />structure has been flood proofed. and <br /> <br />c) Maintain a record of all such information. <br /> <br />(4) Notify. in riverine situations. adiacent communities. the Florida Department of Community <br />Affairs - NFIP Coordinating Office. and the prior to any alteration or relocation of a <br />watercourse. and submit copies of such notifications to FEMA. <br /> <br />(5) Assure that the flood carrying capacity within the altered or relocated portion of any <br />watercourse is maintained. <br /> <br />(6) Manufactured homes shall be installed using methods and practices that minimize flood <br />damage. They must be elevated and anchored to prevent flotation. collapse. and lateral <br />movement. Methods of anchoring may include. but are not limited to. use of over-the-top or <br />frame ties to ground anchors. This requirement is in addition to applicable State of Florida <br />and local anchoring requirements for resisting wind forces. <br /> <br />(7) When the data is not available from any source. in accordance with standard set forth in <br />Article 5, Section C (2) of this Section. the lowest floor of the structure shall be elevated to <br />no lower than above the highest adiacent grade.
