Department is currently developing a Technology Continuation Plan for our present <br />infrastructure. The proposal will address the needs of the City and Police Department in case of <br />an emergency and the availability of our applications and communications systems. The plan we <br />are proposing will be presented and implemented in a five phase approach. Using this type of <br />solution will allow us the most flexibility in budgeting, deployment and support. The phases will <br />be implemented in the following order. <br />· Phase One - City Infrastructure <br />o Domain Controller 2 servers <br />o DHCP/Print Server <br />o Email-Exchange 2003 <br />o SQL-Server-Database (Time Attendance Laser-Fiche Vehicle Tracking) <br />o PTWin- (Building and Code Enforcement) <br />o Web - (Time Attendance System) <br />o Stromberg -Server (Time Attendance System) <br />o Blackberry server/RIS server <br />o Help Desk server <br />o Anti- Virus server <br />o Tele-mate server phone report system <br />Cost $99,500 <br />Source of Funds: Police Forfeiture Funds $30,000 and General Fund/IT $69,500. <br /> <br />Finance Department <br /> <br />City Manager <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Item No.: <br /> <br /> <br />Approval; <br /> <br />Funding available: <br /> <br />Commission Meeting Date: <br />
