Uguccioni <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />This Resolution is presented for your approval. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission ratify the First Amendment to Consultant <br />Agreement with Ellen J. Uguccioni. <br /> <br />By way of background, on January 13, 2010, the City of Sunny Isles Beach entered into <br />an agreement with Ellen 1. Uguccioni, in which Ms. Uguccioni agreed to assist the City's <br />Historic Preservation Board in evaluating the historic significance of the Temple B'Nai <br />Zion, located at 200 178th Street, Sunny Isles Beach, and determine whether the Temple <br />met the City's criteria for historic site designation. <br /> <br />During the summer recess, the City and Ms. Uguccioni entered into a First Amendment <br />to the consultant agreement. I was authorized to enter into this First Amendment because <br />the City Commission was in summer recess and was not scheduled to meet again until <br />the next regular City Commission meeting on September 16,2010. <br /> <br />The City desires to ratify the terms and conditions of the First Amendment to the original <br />consultant agreement with Ms. Uguccioni. Under the terms and conditions of the First <br />Amendment, the term of the consultant agreement is extended for consecutive one month <br />terms up to a maximum period of twelve months, unless terminated by either party with <br />30 (thirty) days notice of cancelation. The consultant agrees to perform additional scope <br />of services for the City including but not limited to: 1) review and evaluate the City's <br />Historic Landmarks Ordinance, 2) conduct workshops for the Board, 3) analyze <br />feasibility of ad valorem tax relief and transfer development rights ("TDR") ordinance <br /> <br />http://sibagenda.sibfl.net/agenda/Preview.aspx?ItemID=348&MeetingID=O&MeetingDate... 9/1 0/20 1 0 <br />
