SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The scope of services under this proposal consists of providing design, construction documents, <br />and construction administration for a streetscape improvement along Collins Avenue Arlen House <br />Condominium (from Bayview Drive to the southern city limits). The design shall generally <br />conform with the preliminary design approved by the city as submitted on May 14,2010. For the <br />purpose of this proposal, the following statements and assumptions are made with respect to the <br />work required: <br /> <br />A. Civil/Structural Engineering <br /> <br />1. Design of sidewalk improvements between Bayview Dr. and the southern city limits. An <br />easement increase will provide a 30' wide landscape area between existing private <br />propelties and the avenue. A 7-foot high rock wall with lighting will be constructed to <br />separate the propelties from the pedestrians. . <br />2. Conduct search of existing utilities records and "as-Built" drawings within the project <br /> <br />area. <br />3. Prepare base civil design drawings. <br />4. Design of water services connection to include new water meter and irrigation back <br /> <br />flow preventer. <br />5. Services shall include meeting with water department to obtain points of connection <br /> <br />and new water service agreement. <br /> <br />SIB <br />
