Former <br />county officers, departmental personnel and employees who have <br />left the county within two (2) years prior to the effecti';e date of <br />the ordinance from which this section derives shall mcecutc an <br />affidavit on a form prepared by the Office of the Inspector General <br />prior to lobbying any county officer, departmental personnel or <br />employee stating that the requirements of this section do not <br />preclude said person from lobbying any officer, depar.mental <br />personncl or employee of the county. Thc Inspector Gencral shall <br />verify the accuracy of each affidavit eJcecuted by former county <br />officers, departmental personnel or employees.]] <br /> <br />(5) Any individual who is found to be in violation of <br />this Subsection (q) shall be subject to the penalties provided in <br />either Subsection [fte1fl-)]] >>(bb)(1)<< or Subsection [[~]] <br />>>(bb)(2)<<. <br /> <br />(r) Ethics Commission to render opinions on request. <br />Whenever any person included in the terms defined in subsection <br />(b)(1) through (6) [[and subsection]] >>~<< (b)(9) >>and (b)(13)<< <br />is in doubt as to the proper interpretation or application of this <br />Conflict of Interest and Code of Ethics Ordinance as to himself or <br />herself, or whenever any person who renders services to the <br />County is in doubt as to the applicability of the said ordinance as to <br />himself or herself, he or she may submit to the Ethics Commission <br />a full written statement of the facts and questions he or she has. <br />The Ethics Commission shall then render an opinion to such <br />person and shall publish these opinions without use of the name of <br />the person advised unless such person requests the use of his or her <br />name. <br /> <br />(s) Lobbying. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />(9) The Ethics Commission shall investigate any person <br />engaged in lobbying activities who may be in violation of this <br />subsection (s). In the event that a violation is found to have been <br />committed the Ethics Commission may, in addition to the penalties <br />set forth in subsection UW]] >>(bb)<<, prohibit such person from <br />lobbying before the County Commission or any committee, board <br />or personnel of the County as provided herein. Every lobbyist who <br />is found to be in violation of this section shall be prohibited from <br /> <br />{, Z <br />
