Public Speakers: none Commissioner Goodman moved and Commissioner Scholl seconded a motion to approve this resolution. Resolution No. 2010-1613 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. lOP. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Approving an Agreement with Dade Contracting, Inc. to Reconstruct the Entrance to the City's Property Located at 287 Sunny Isles Boulevard, in an Amount Not to Exceed $19,011.00, Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A"; Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said Agreement; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Manager Conner reported noting that this is to put the hard surface on the driveway area. Once you have a driveway permitted on any FDOT road and then abandon the use of it, at some point they occasional try to tell you that you can't have it, and so this would also protect that usage. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Renaming 16900 Block Intersection on Collins Avenue to "168 Terrace"; Authorizing the City Manager to Expend Funds in an Amount of up to $600.00 for the Installation of Street Signs and to Do All Other Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Manager Conner reported noting that this intersection has never officially been named. Public Speakers: none Vice Mayor Thaler moved and Commissioner Scholl seconded a motion to approve this resolution. Resolution No. 2010-1615 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. lOR. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Ratifying the Approval of an Advertising Agreement with Aboard Publishing, Inc. to Produce One (1) Edition of the Sunny Isles Beach Visitor Guide, in an Amount Not to Exceed $16,200.00, Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A"; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Cultural and Human Services Director Susan Simpson reported and noted that this will allow the City to be included (two pages) in the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau hard cover book which is placed in 28,221 hotels rooms within Miami-Dade County. In addition they will produce for us a 20-page Visitors Guide, 25,000 copies; we will provide the information, they will go out and get the 14
