I
"

Company History & Information:
Established in 2000, Brooks & Freund is the
result of a merger between two Lee County-
based construction firms - Donald Brooks'
Brooks, Inc, (established 1979) and Richard
Freund's F&D Construction (established
1994 ),

Annual company revenues peaked in 2006 at
$114 million, Full time employees reached a
high of 44 that same year, As everyone in
the south Florida construction industry
knows, times are very different now than they
were in 2006 - 2007, Projected revenues for
2010 are $40 million, with 20 full time
employees, Revenues for 2008 and 2009
were $66 Million & $36 Million, In these trying
economic times, the company has expanded
both its range of operation and the types of
opportunities it pursues - it could be said that
Brooks & Freund is "surviving comfortably,"

Main Office/Owner Contact:
Richard Freund
5661 Independence Circle
Fort Myers, FL 33912
P: 239-939-5251
F: 239-939-5117
richa rd@brooksandfreund,com

From its inception, the company has focused
on keeping a varied project portfolio, Brooks
& Freund's past projects range from 300-unit
condominium complexes with complete site
development to 1,200 square foot interior
build outs, and everything in between. There
are municipal projects - office complexes, fire
stations, emergency operations / public
safety facilities - commercial projects -
shopping centers, marinas, aircraft hangars,
corporate offices, apartments as well as light
and heavy industrial, roadwork, and HUD
projects. Now more than ever, that wide
range of experience is key to being ready for
the next opportunity.

Brooks & Freund has completed projects with
significant demolition as well as various
structures over water. For this project, we
will team up with a Marine Subcontractor,
Bunnell Foundation, Inc., that has
extensive experience in pier construction.
Our personnel have worked with Bunnell
Foundation on many South Florida projects.

We feel that our company and the team we
have assembled for this project are qualified
to oversee and manage the successful
completion of your project.

Highlighted in the following sections are
some past and present Brooks & Freund
projects that lend themselves to the types of
construction for this project. We also display
some of the qualifications of our management
personnel and our marine subcontractor.

~
BROO'S...~UNQ
-........
..-::-.:'-
