Consolidated Rental Car Center (RCG) within the Miami
Intermodal Center in Miami, FL. The Rental Car Center features an artistic wall
screening element, meant to cover the facility's back of house operations. The RCC offers passengers one location with rapid transportation to and
from the airport. It will provide convenient access and connectivity between the transportation systems (Miami-Dade Metrorail, Amtrak, Tri-Rail, MIA
Mover, buses, taxicabs, rental cars, and private automobiles) for residents and visitors of Miami-Dade County
and the South Florida region, which includes the
Palm Beaches, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and the
Florida Keys, as well as decongest the streets
in and around the busy airport. All of the major
and a number of smaller rental car companies
(22 total) serving Miami International Airport
house their ready return area, fueling, fluid top-off,
washing operations and company offices at the facility.
Three levels, 830,000 SF each of parking area, are
allocated to rental car companies and one level, 550,000
SF area, s for visitor parking.
