BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size and cost) <br /> <br />WA has been commissioned to provide a park wide <br />master plan and a new approximately 7,000 SF <br />tennis center for the City of Miami Beach at historic <br />Flamingo Park. The firm is providing programming, <br />planning, historical renovations, architectural and <br />engineering services for the 33 acre site. <br /> <br />WA conducted design charrettes with the citizens of <br />Miami Beach to solicit input on the new master plan <br />and tennis center. The new tennis center will have a <br />proshop, restrooms and a general multi-purpose <br />room. The master plan combines existing elements <br />to remain as well as proposed new structures and <br />activities areas and provides for park wide <br />improvements to landscaping, lighting, graphics and <br />signage, estate fencing, amenities such as benches <br />and garbage bins and improvements to other venues <br />including football stadium, baseball and softball <br />fields, public restrooms etc. <br /> <br />Cost: $4,900,000 <br /> <br /> <br />25.
