BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />Zyscovich designed the Arthur E. Teele Community <br />Center as the second phase to the Little Haiti Soccer <br />Park. This building houses the City's local Neighborhood <br />Enhancement Team offices. Park offices, restrooms, a <br />Community Meeting room and a large Multi-purpose <br />room. Additionally, the project has covered, exterior space <br />designed as complimentary event space. The building is <br />sited as to allow prominence on the street, while planning <br />on a future connection to a third phase activities building <br />and providing direct access to the soccer park amenities. <br /> <br />In order to expedite the project, the City requested that <br />Zyscovich provide a re-use of an existing City Park Building <br />from another neighborhood. As part of the scope, Zyscovich <br />provided services to modify the building's design so that it <br />responded to the context of the Little Haiti Community, <br />and in doing so, was able to better accommodate the <br />neighborhood's programming needs. Zyscovich provided <br />re-design services and produced 100% construction <br />documents in 5 weeks.
