BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost): <br /> <br />Silva Architects provided complete AlE services for this project. This project is a 67,000 gsf elementary school facility in <br />Miami, Florida. The project budget was $15 million. <br />This project showcases Silva Architects' handling of a small but complicated project. The project was fast tracked, as the school <br />was a replacement. Students were temporarily moved to another under-enrolled school while the project was constructed. <br />The project consisted of a partial demolition of the existing Holmes Elementary and a complete gutting and remodeling of the <br />existing Cafetorium and a single classroom building. This complicated project opened on time and was well received by the community. <br />This project is another example of an existing shell that was salvaged and new interior work provided, which will benefit the AlE of <br />the a continuing services project. <br /> <br />39.
