The new 3-story, 25,000- sq. ft. multi-tenant administrative office building provides office spaces for the Market's brokers and tenants. The building was designed so that the core can serve the existing building and a future expansion of up to 25,000 sq. ft. The demolition of most of the old building allowed for the expansion of parkinq for the tractor trailers which serve the market distribution network. The project includes a large scale expansion and improvements to the existing water treatment plant that includes a new two story 14,500 sq. ft. administrative operations office building, a new 23,000 sq. ft. nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membrane technology building, in addition to support facilities such as high service pump rooms, motor control electrical rooms, generator rooms, a new 2,500 sq. ft. structure to hold sodium hypoclhorite tanks, meterinq rooms and storaae. QA/QC for the structural part of the Design/Build of FDOT District 6 North Dade Maintenance Facility. Phase I consisted of a 12,000 sq. ft. office building which included offices; conference and training rooms; lunch room with a kitchenette and vending machines; locker facilities with showers and toilets; and computer / radio communication rooms. Phase II included an 18,000 sq. ft. eight-bay vehicle maintenance/warehouse building; roofing of a 4-station fueling facility; bulk and secure material storage; and site development of the 8.3 acre parcel. For Phase III C3TS provided contract documents for the design/build project of a 5.000 sq. ft. office which included offices and conference room for the FDOT Construction Dept., as well as a 600 SQ. ft. weldinq shop and restroom facilitv. Incorporating the latest in servicing technology, including portable hydraulic lifts, overhead cranes, and prefabricated rack storage, this facility will be the definitive state-of-the- art facility in South Florida. Mr. Crews is responsible for both this first phase 20,000 sq. ft. design criteria package and the 60,000 sq. ft. master olannina, includina environmental assessment throuah South Florida Water ManaQement District of this facilitv.
