a.. ~ ~ MARIO GUEVARA Project Architect EDUCATION 2003 Bachelor of Architecture UNET San Cristobal, Venezuela Mr. Guevara received his bachelor in Architecture from the University Of T,khira State in Venezuela in 2003. He joined the office of The Russell Partnership, Inc. in 2007 as a Project architect. Mr. Guevara has evolved and expanded his knowledge of architecture by working in a diverse number of projects that range from Recreational, Educational, Federal Govemment, Ubraries and Peer Review Services. The followina are some of the Droiects that he has Drovided his exDerience: Regional Commuter Facility The Regional Commuter Facility at Miami Intemational Airport will mark the westem boundary of the North Terminal Development. This facility is designed for the use of a regional commuter airline providing two additional gates as well as access to sixteen commuter jets that are ramp loaded. The over 67,000 SF area of this building will house the numerous tasks of this airline including office space, hold rooms, ticket counters, and sterile conidors. Pines Middle School Replacement School The Russell Partnership, Inc. in coordination with the SBBC provided design criteria and construction administration for this 2-story Replacement School in Broward County. Tyrone Bryant Branch Library The Russell Partnership, Inc. was in charge of the design and construction administration for this library. The project consists of a brand new 10,000 S.F. Branch library including new parking area, and the relocation of existing tennis and shuffleboard courts. The library functions as a meeting place for the community. There is a multipurpose room with room for over one hundred people, with audio-visual components and a food preparations area. A drive through book drop off is conveniently placed by the parking area and within access from the inside of the facility by the circulation workroom. The main library space is a large column free space, well lit by indirect lighting. There is a children's area with primarily north facing window openings that allows a view towards the park setting ADA Design Consulting for the School Board of Broward County Mr. Guevara provides design consulting for the SBBC; such consulting includes school surveys, ADA risk assessment, special accommodations requests, ADA design and inspections for retrofitting of existing spaces in 200+ schools throughout Broward County. New Aquatic Plays and ADA Renovations for South Dade Park & AD Barnes Park Aquatic Centers The Russell Partnership, Inc. was in charge of the design and construction administration of the 14.000 combined sqJft projects for the new aquatic play and renovations of existing bathhouses at these Miami Dade Parks facilities. New Soccer Fields for Tamiami Park and Flagler Grove Park The Russell Partnership, Inc. was in charge of the design and construction administration of 3 new soccer fields for Tamiami Park, as well as the new Flagler Grove Park in the city of Pinecrest, which provides the local community with 2 soccer fields, bicycle racks; children play areas, bleachers and landscaping. Continuing Services Contract for the School Board of Broward County The Russell Partnership, Inc. has provided design, construction administration and peer review services for the School Board of Broward County in the area of ADA compliance, life safety and general renovations and remodeling.
