<br /> <br />I <br /> <br />architecture . engineering <br /> <br />NSU HPD and AlE CONTINUING SERVICES <br />Multiple Campus Locations <br /> <br /> <br />As Campus Architect, ACAI is currently serving in a <br />wide array of renovation/repair projects, assessment <br />reports, schematic planning, and re-roofing projects in <br />numerous buildings throughout all of NSU's Campuses. <br />Projects include the $44MM, 800,000 gsf medical cam- <br />pus complex in Davie, Florida; the $70MM, 214,000 gsf <br />research building in Davie, Florida; the $2.1 MM, 53,000 <br />gsf interior fitout in Tampa, Florida and schematic plan- <br />ning for 64,800 gsf in West Palm Beach, Florida. Other <br />facilities locations include North Miami Beach, Dania, <br />Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Ft. <br />Myers and Puerto Rico. <br /> <br />This includes the Health Profession Division Campus in <br />Davie, Florida. The new 800,000 gsf campus includes <br />administration areas; food service for 500; student ser- <br />vices; museum, nurses and custodial areas; 11 audito- <br />riums with distance-learning video conferencing and <br />computer hook-up capabilities; full medical library; wet <br />laboratory teaching classrooms; a 60,000 sq. ft. state of <br />the art teaching clinic; its own physical plant; and a con- <br />nected parking garage for 1,500 spaces. Services were <br />provided in Partnered Format and included master <br />planning, architecture/engineering, interior design, pro- <br />gramming, value engineering and post-design services, <br />shop drawing review, As-Built drawing preparation, <br />construction inspections and AlE consultation services <br />during construction. Moreover, full-time construction <br />. engineering inspections were provided by ACAI. <br />Contractor/vendor/sub coordination meetings were <br />conducted on a weekly basis, in addition to weekly on- <br />site Owner's meetings.
