The 400,000 sq. ft. State Farmers' Market in Florida City was in the path of Hurricane Andrew. In the aftermath, the State found the campus to be
completely devastated and selected ACAI Associates to head a Fast Track Design and Construct Program to deliver a completely rebuilt and
Tracked project was delivered in 57 days, exactly one week ahead of schedule and in time for the seasonal harvest. Fast-track Services were
provided in Partnered Format and included Master Planning, Architecture/Engineering, Programming, Value Engineering and Post Design
Services concurrently to Construction, Shop Drawing Review, As-Built Drawing Preparation, full-time Construction Inspections and AlE
rebuilding of the State Farmer's Market in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew, ACAI was selected again in 2005 by the Department of Agriculture
and Consumer Affairs to assess damages to two additional structures during Hurricane Wilma. These buildings were not included in the original
work. A phase one Assessment and Recommendation report illustrating the existing conditions and proposed repairs was completed and
