<br />Request for Proposal- "Aquatic Entertainment Complex" <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br />November 8,2010 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />building types including several water process facilities (for Miami-Dade WASD) <br />that implement many similar systems as in this Project. In addition, the firm has <br />been involved in several park projects including (but not limited to) Chapman <br />Field Park, Martin Luther King Park, Royal Colonial Park. <br /> <br />As a unified team, axioma3 architects and J. Milton & Associates have been <br />collaborating on numerous projects for the past five years and both companies <br />are highly experienced and prepared to spearhead this Project. <br /> <br />o International Aquatic Design (www.aquaticsqroup.com) <br />Specialized Consultant: As the primary consultant to the Project, this company <br />has provided design and services to Palace Entertainment Group, who operates <br />numerous Sea-life Aquariums around the world. They have also provided <br />services and design assistance to Sea World Parks (formally Busch Gardens <br />Entertainment) and have designed portions of smaller aquarium type projects <br />such as the New England Aquarium and Sea World, Hawaii. <br /> <br />The firm has extensive experience in the design and engineering of wild life <br />systems, tanks, pools and theme equipment as well knowledge of the industry as <br />it relates to operation and profitability of these types of facilities. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Their team consists of Marine Biologist, Aquarium Life Support Experts as well <br />as construction personnel familiar with the structural requirements for the aquatic <br />tanks and systems. <br /> <br />o De Los Reyes Engineering, Inc. (www.delsorevesenqineerinq.com) <br />Structural Engineer: The firm was established in 1993 and throughout a 30+ <br />year career; Mr. De Los Reyes has gained a reputation as a creative, insightful <br />engineer that provides personal service to each and every client. His goal <br />throughout his career has always been to meet and surpass his client's needs by <br />producing efficient and economical designs that lead to successful projects. By <br />always keeping this notion in the forefront, he has been able to make and <br />maintain close ties with some of South Florida's leading architects, developers, <br />and construction companies. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mr. De Los Reyes received his B.S. in Architectural Engineering from the <br />University of Miami in 1978 and at this time he began his structural engineering <br />career with highly reputable companies such as Spillis, Candela & Partners, <br />Cantor and Seinuk, Puig & Associates, where he was personally involved in large <br />scale projects such as the James L.
