<br />Request for Proposal- "Aquatic Entertainment Complex" <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br />November 8, 2010 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Please refer to Exhibit "J" for Copies of State of Florida Department of Business and <br />Professional Regulation Licenses. <br /> <br />11.4 Bond Capacity <br /> <br />International General Contractors, Inc. meets the bond qualification requirements and <br />has the capacity to obtain performance and payment bonds for 110% of the proposed <br />design-build contract. <br /> <br />Please refer to Exhibit "K" for confirmation letter from USllnsurance Services, LLC. <br /> <br />11.5 Statement of Commitment for Projects Duration <br /> <br />Excellent corporate citizenry has always been a priority of the Developer who has <br />frequently contributed to the quality of life in local communities. With much of the <br />Company's development activity currently focused on the City of Sunny Isles Beach, <br />significant resources and energy have been applied to this city's civic projects-notably <br />the exciting new Aquatic Entertainment Complex and Park. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Developer has already invested substantial funds in developing preliminary plans <br />with graphics of the supporting venues featured throughout the park and aquarium. The <br />Developer has also had meetings with four of the major aquarium operators in the <br />United States. It is the intention of the Developer to invest his own equity into the <br />venture and retain ownership of the aquarium. <br /> <br />11.6 Job Creation and Small Disadvantage and Minority Participation <br /> <br />The Project will create, directly and indirectly, approximately 284 jobs during <br />construction and approximately 1047 permanent jobs upon completion. The Developer <br />is committed and has an established track record of hiring and sub-contracting work to <br />disadvantages and minority owned companies. A substantial portion of this project will <br />be aimed towards providing work for minority owned companies. <br /> <br />In addition, the following firms are certified with Miami-Dade County (and other <br />governmental agencies) as Community Business Enterprise (CBE); Disadvantage <br />Business Enterprise (DBE) and/or Micro/Small Business Enterprise (MICRO/SBE): <br /> <br />o Axioma 3, Architects - Project Architects. <br />o Develotec, Inc. - Civil Engineer. <br />o Savino Miller Design Studio - Landscape Architects. <br /> <br />11.7 Past Performance History <br /> <br />The Developer and/or Project Team Members have not received a cure notice nor <br />accessed liquidated damages nor have been in default or terminated on any project. <br />_ There have been no claims and/or litigation in the past five years. <br /> <br />23 of 32 <br />
