.

e

-

Request for Proposal- "Aquatic Entertainment Complex"
City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida
November 8,2010

12.8 Substantiation

Although this is an important aspect of Design-Build projects in the Aquarium portion of
the project, the Owner is the Developer/Builder therefore all aspects of the design and
construction will be agreed and validated prior to execution.

With regards to the City portion of the project the developer and staff will implement all
necessary presentations to have a clear understanding of the City needs. In addition,
during the construction phase the developer will provide the periodic inspections and
reviews to make sure that there are no unjustifiable deviations from the project scope
and specifications.

12.9 Construction Site Utilization Plan

A major aspect to this plan is the fact that the developer owns an office building across
the subject project site and that is fully prepared to function as the construction office
and staff facilities, including area for parking that will not interfere with the site
operations.

The Construction Site Utilization Plan is provided herein as Drawing A-104.

32 of 32
