Other systems include constant temperature -
humidity rooms, low temperature rooms and freezers, low temperature rooms, dust
collections systems, high pressure piping systems, service piping, process piping
and plumbing

Background as a test and balance engineer as well as design engineer has led to
forensic engineering experience as expert witness for both plaintiff and defense
attorneys. Areas of litigation have included piping system corrosion, high
humidity's, mold and mildew, pumping deficiencies, condensation and inadequate
HVAC capacities. As test and balance consultant for Broward County School
System, much work has been done in solving poor IAQ schools, both inadequate
ventilation and mold and mildew.

Nanay Community Center, Hallandale, FL
Project Caine, Inc. provided the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering
for this project. The total project cost was $3M. This project consisted of the
renovation and upgrade of the existing community center in Miami Beach, Florida.
The project was on two stories and each about 4000 SF. The design provided for
the addition of another story and a roof deck. The project included a kitchen,
bathrooms, offices, recreational areas, and meeting rooms.

Cleveland Clinic MRI, Weston, FL.
The project consisted of the addition of a 1.5 T MRI suite to the first floor of the
hospital. Mechanical design included a new remote chiller to cool the magnet. The
electrical design consisted of direct and indirect lighting, power distribution and
state of the art low voltage systems. All equipment and materials had to be non-
ferrous. The room was designed with a magnetic shield surrounding it. This
project required an AHCA stage II stand up review.

T responsive engineering
