BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT <br /> Construction included a 2-story recreation center <br /> building with a footprint of 6,000 SF and a <br /> gymnasium with a footprint of 8,000 SF. The <br /> buildings are supported on piles for which Nutting <br /> provided the pile load testing and pile installation <br /> monitoring which inckuded 200+ augercast piles. <br /> The buildings are constructed of engineered unit <br /> masonry with precast concrete joists and <br /> cast-in-place concrete slab at the second level of <br /> recreation center and steel trusses at the roof of the <br /> gymnasium. <br /> Special inspections were also be performed for the <br /> pre-cast and poured-in-place concrete and the <br /> structural steel in accordance with the specifications. <br /> Threshold inspections were performed in <br /> accordance with the structural inspection plan. <br /> Nutting Engineers also performed the geotechnical <br /> engineering & exploration services, general site <br /> preparation and foundation design recommendations <br /> on behalf of Calvin Giordano and Associates in <br /> 2004. <br /> 25.
