Energy Conservation plays an important role in the design approach undertaken <br />by WA on all of our projects. As far as our experience with "high performance green buildings" WA has <br />always been on the leading edge of technology in providing clients with energy efficient buildings and <br />systems such as thermal energy plants, cogeneration, solar collectors, efficient lighting systems, V A V and <br />variable pumping systems among others. <br /> <br />Proposed Design Team/Capabilities of Staff <br />WA brings significant related experience in the design <br />and execution of new construction, renovations and <br />remodeling as well as building management systems that <br />could be included under this type of contract. WA also <br />understands the need to address the requirements for <br />continued operation while projects are under way. This <br />combined experience insures an understanding and <br />appreciation for the challenges to be faced, as well as, a <br />background in resolution of each of the challenges with <br />creative and dynamic solutions. Each of the professionals <br />selected to serve on this project have specific design <br />experience with governmental agencies. <br /> <br /> <br />WA is able to provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil engineering services as well as <br />architectural services for this RFQ. With extensive experience in the performance of similar work for <br />governmental agencies at the local, state and federal levels, the firm will be able to provide the highest <br />level of performance for this project. <br /> <br />Based on the design team's substantial related experience with public/civic projects, our management <br />structure has been specifically tailored to provide the communication, expertise, administrative and <br />technical capabilities and the talent necessary to effectively address all of the critical areas identified in <br />the Scope of Services, while ensuring flexibility to efficiently address and execute the RFQ. <br /> <br />The Project Team's organization and proposed project management structure relies heavily upon the <br />current and direct experience of the team's senior staff in their assigned responsibilities. Each team <br />member will be individually and collectively responsible for the quality of work performed and the <br />communication of critical project goals and milestones. <br /> <br />The Project Manager will oversee the overall planning, design and production effort, and will monitor <br />project schedule and identify problems / issues needing to be resolved in a timely manner. She will <br />establish and implement the Team's quality assurance process, and will be responsible for scheduling <br />internal project reviews of all submittals before they are delivered to the client.
