Engineering Coordinators will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality and integration of work within their specific areas of assignment, and will assist the Project Manager in the allocation of Team resources. The Quality Control Coordinator will be responsible for ongoing review of basic concepts and design criteria issues, general documentation, detail applicability and overall coordination. Through these independent reviews, the coordinator will ensure delivery of work based on sound design, engineering and constructability practices, as well as conformance and integration with programmatic standards and procedures established for the project. Project Manager Experience As Director of Plumbing Engineering for WA, Elvira Pita, ASPE, will act as Project Manager for this contract and managed all phases of planning and project development and design from preliminary concepts and programming to final production. Ms. Pita is located in WA's main office at 1500 San Remo Ave., Coral Gables, FL 33146, phone 305-666-5474, rpita@wolfbergalvarez.com. The Project Manager will be the Team's single point of contact for the City of Sunny Isles Beach, as well as for all other entities and agencies. The Project Manager, with the support and assistance of the Architectural and Engineering Coordinators, will be responsible for assigning resources of the Team to the various work tasks, and maintaining regular communication as to progress of work with the City's Project Manager. She will oversee the overall design and production effort, and will monitor project schedule and identify problems/issues to be resolved in a timely manner. He will establish and implement the Team's quality assurance/quality control process, and will be responsible for scheduling internal project reviews of all submittals before they are delivered to the client.
