BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT <br />SRS provided engineering design, preparation of <br />construction documents, permitting assistance, and <br />pre-construction phase support services to the City <br />of Hialeah for the reconstruction of over 26 miles of <br />existing roadways including the preparation of <br />designs for the construction of drainage <br />improvements associated with roadway <br />reconstruction, Our work included meeting with City <br />of Hialeah staff and local regulatory agencies to <br />establish design guidelines, utility search and <br />identification of existing utilities, traffic controls and <br />review of roadway design standards; design and <br />preparation of construction documents including <br />preparation of summary of quantities, signage and <br />marking plans and quantities, MOT plan, <br />specifications, and engineer's estimate of probable <br />construction cost. <br /> <br />SRS also performed pre-construction support <br />services including attending pre-bid meeting, <br />responding to pre-bid request of information and <br />review of bids; providing supplemental information <br />and/or clarification of construction documents to <br />prospective bidders during bid solicitation process. <br /> <br />c.
