BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. provided structural engineering design, construction administration and <br />inspection services on this new $3.5 million, 11,000 square foot single story laboratory and office building. <br />Environmental Monitoring is responsible for designing and conducting scientific surveys and investigations; <br />supporting agency efforts in resource protection and environmental compliance; serving as a County-wide <br />environmental laboratory resource; and providing technical and scientific support for other governmental and <br />private sector entities. The facility is NELAC-certified which ensures that the highest standards of environmental <br />sample analyses are met. <br /> <br />The project is seeking LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) green building certification. <br />Sustainable, green design produces a more efficient, higher-quality workplace environment. <br /> <br />25.
