The new Law School includes an auditorium, teaching <br />laboratories, study centers, offices and campus support services. <br />The project is 151,368 total gross square feet with 45% of <br />assignable space allocated to the Law Library. The 60- and 80- <br />seat classrooms are designed with tiered seating, and there are <br />also two mock courtrooms, that include a Judge's bench equivalent <br />in size to the U.S. Supreme Court. <br /> <br />Key Structural Components <br />. Floor system is a reinforced concrete slab on precast concrete <br />joists <br />. High-strength, load bearing concrete masonry unit exterior <br />walls <br />. Shallow spread footing foundation system <br />. Reading room is supported by long-span, composite steel wide <br />flange beams that float 50 feet above the auditorium below <br />.
