<br />RAPID RESPONSE APPROACH <br /> <br />A key element in successfully executing any project assignment under this contract is to have a proven project <br />manager with a strong technical background and a thorough understanding of the City's infrastructure and <br />processes, Our proposed Project Manager Mr. Alberto Argudin, PE has over 34 years of experience in providing <br />project management and professional engineering services in South Florida and has worked successfully on a <br />variety of projects that include all aspects of site engineering including stormwater management, water <br />distribution, sewage collection and transmission, transportation, solid waste management; environmental studies <br />and permitting; and construction management. As Project Manager and design engineer, he has been <br />responsible for the planning, design, permitting, and construction supervision of residential, commercial, <br />industrial, municipal and institutional projects, As a contractor, he has been involved in both commercial and <br />residential projects for both the private and public sectors, <br /> <br />From our previous experience with similar projects <br />for other municipalities and governmental agencies <br />we are aware that the scope of work for this <br />contract will likely require multiple project <br />assignments that must be performed <br />simultaneously, As identified in the resumes <br />included in SF255 Block 7, ADA has assembled a I <br />team of highly qualified professionals. Our team r TEAM 1 - I <br />has been divided into three rapid response groups <br />to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, on <br />an as needed basis, Group one will be led by Mr. Alex Vazquez, PE, This group will handle first-order task <br />assignments, Mr. Vazquez has over 26 years of engineering consulting and construction management <br />experience, Mr, Vazquez's experience encompasses a wide range of projects including stormwater management <br />master plan development; water resource studies; hydrology, hydraulic and stormwater quality modeling; <br />stormwater infrastructure analysis and design; roadway design; industrial and commercial site development; <br />design of pavement structures; design of water and wastewater collection and distribution systems, stormwater <br />management and environmental permitting; stormwater National Pollutant Discharge Eliminating System <br />(NPDES) permitting for municipal and industrial clients; evaluation of Best Management Practices (BMPs) <br />performance for surface water disposal projects; construction management; and application of GIS technologies <br />to civil engineering, environmental engineering, and water resources projects, <br /> <br />(D;"IJ'.... These other groups will be led by Mr, Richard <br />Mendez, LEED AP and Ms, Herminia "Chiqui" Larrua, PE, who are highly qualified and have extensive experience <br />working on all types of engineering projects and with municipal staff, <br /> <br />Mr. Mendez has over 34 years of civil engineering experience, He specializes in program/project management <br />and construction administration, overseeing multiple projects, particularly for governmental agencies, Mr, Mendez <br />has extensive experience working with Miami-Dade County, He began his professional career working for Miami- <br />Dade County Public Works and later worked for Miami-Dade County Aviation Department. Mr, Mendez's <br />expertise ranges from initial project planning and development to construction management. Mr. Mendez is also a <br />licensed Miami-Dade general building and engineering contractor, Mr, Mendez is currently the Project Manager <br />for the new Miami Art Museum and new Miami Science Museum projects and the City of Miami NW 14th <br />Streetscape project. <br /> <br />Ms, Larrua has over 36 years of engineering consulting experience, Her experience encompasses a wide range <br />of projects including planning and design of roadways, stormwater infrastructure analysis and design, hydraulics <br />and stormwater quality modeling, land development projects, bridge and culvert structures design, water <br />distribution and sanitary sewer design, and airport design.
