<br />KHA has served the Town of Jupiter under an ongoing services contract since 1972. During that time, we have literally completed
<br />hundreds of improvement projects and provided government leaders with sound, practical, and cost-effective advice in numerous
<br />areas. Our services have included traffic engineering, roadway and drainage improvement, water system improvements, development
<br />plan reviews, coastal engineering, park design, preliminary engineering and final design plans, utility relocations, bid coordination,
<br />construction contract administration, and numerous other services. Our work has involved the development of cost estimates, technical
<br />specifications, and permitting services through a regional water district, FDEP, and federal agencies. We also assisted the Town in
<br />obtaining Local Agency Planning designation and acquiring a $1 million ISTEA grant. Below we identify just a handful of projects that

<br />KHA has served the Town of Miami Lakes as its Town Engineer since 2007. Miami Lakes has contracted with our firm to provide all
<br />aspects of engineering associated with the Town, including providing staff to fill the positions of Public Works Director and Stormwater
<br />Utility Director. KHA's services have included traffic engineering, transportation planning, roadway design, drainage design, stormwater
<br />management, site planning, bid coordination services, landscape architecture, public involvement, construction administration, and
<br />more. With Miami Lakes' recent incorporation, they are in the process of obtaining the responsibility and ownership of the infrastructure
<br />within the Town limits. To assist with this effort, KHA is providing support in a wide range of areas to assess the conditions of the
<br />existing infrastructure. Specific projects for the Town of Miami Lakes have included:

<br />General Engineering and General Traffic and Transportation Sen1ices, South Miami, FL
<br />KHA provided a variety of services for the City of South Miami. Projects ranged from downtown traffic analysis; roadway beautification
<br />along sections of US 1; intersection improvements (SW 64th Street and SW 59th Place, SW 74th Street and SW 59th Avenue-
<br />services included water main improvements, new asphalt, traffic calming elements to narrow the intersection by adding landscape
<br />medians, and construction phase services); design services for Murray Park; and north end drainage improvements (services included
<br />roadway miscellaneous drainage improvements and construction phase services).

<br />General Civil Engineering Consultant, Briny Breezes, FL
<br />KHA has served the Town of Briny Breezes under a general consulting agreement since 1993. Under this agreement, the firm has
<br />provided a variety of services, including stormwater master planning and improvements on Bay Drive; traffic studies; lift station
<br />rehabilitation; and rehabilitation of the Sanitary Sewer Inflow and Infiltration system. One of the more challenging projects was the
<br />creation of a master plan to rebuild the Town in the event of a catastrophic hurricane or other event. This FEMA-funded project took into
<br />account the prevailing utility, structural, and other requirements needed to successfully rebuild major components for the Town.
