<br /> acre area of unincorporated Miami-Dade County that had little or no existing water and sewer infrastructure in order to improve
<br /> the capacity of the existing system and sustain future economic redevelopment within the area. Additionally, even though the
<br /> project area is within unincorporated Miami-Dade County, portions of it receive water service via water mains owned and
<br /> operated by the adjacent City of Hialeah. Part of our services included developing a plan to disconnect services from the City of

<br />c. Serving as civil engineer. This project is a joint-venture between the City of Miami Beach and UIA Management, LLC. The
<br />1000-1100 Block of Lincoln Road has been closed to vehicular traffic to allow for the extension of the Lincoln Road Pedestrian
<br /> Mall. The mall is being extended west, from Lenox Avenue to Alton Road, and will include a new pedestrian plaza. The design
<br /> also includes four water gardens, and streetscape and infrastructure improvements. Kimley-Horn is providing due diligence, civil
<br /> engineering, landscape architecture, permitting, traffic signal modifications, and lighting and electrical design services for this
<br /> project. This project is ongoing; firm fee: $363,658.

<br /> Served as project engineer for the "Shops at Midtown Miami," the largest urban infill redevelopment project in Miami-Dade County. The
<br /> project is located on 56-acre Brownfield site previously owned by the FEC Railroad and involved planning, design, and construction of
<br />d. all public and private infrastructure to serve 3,500 residential units, 800,000 square feet of commercial, and 15,000 square feet of office
<br />space. Some of the major infrastructure components included FPL and telecommunications duct banks, storm drainage wells, traffic
<br /> signals and roadways, and a street car system. Infrastructure also included 12,500 linear feet of new 12-inch water distribution mains
<br /> and 6,500t linear feet of new 8-inch to 20-inch sanitary sewer mains. Kimley-Horn designed water and sewer service connections for
<br /> future parcel developments. Served as District Engineer for the Midtown Miami Community Development District. The project consisted
<br /> of 14 development blocks, which required extensive coordination with multiple developers, design professionals, and contractors. The
<br /> project was within the jurisdiction of the City of Miami, Miami-Dade County, FDOT, Miami-Dade DERM, FDEP, and the Miami-Dade
<br /> Water and Sewer Department (and also required coordination and approvals from these agencies). Firm fee: $3.5 million; total project
<br /> cost: $650 million.

<br /> services during pre-development, as well as the preparation of a report on findings. A schedule of anticipated fees for the
<br /> project was also compiled. Firm fee: $105,000; total project cost: $8.5 million. The project is currently on hold.
