<br /> floors. Urban Resource Group was involved in this project from its inception, dealing with the very challenging urban redevelopment

<br /> Served as landscape architect for the "Shops at Midtown Miami," the largest urban infill redevelopment project in Miami-Dade
<br /> County. The project is located on 56-acre Brownfield site previously owned by the FEC Railroad and involved planning, design, and
<br /> construction of all public and private infrastructure to serve 3,500 residential units, 800,000 square feet of commercial, and 15,000
<br />d. square feet of office space. Some of the major infrastructure components included FPL and telecommunications duct banks, storm
<br /> drainage wells, traffic signals and roadways, and a street car system. Infrastructure also included 12,500 linear feet of new 12-inch
<br /> water distribution mains and 6,500z linear feet of new 8-inch to 20-inch sanitary sewer mains, which required a 100-linear-foot bore-
<br /> and-jack beneath FEC Railroad and interconnection with an existing 72-inch live interceptor at Biscayne Boulevard. Kimley-Horn
<br /> designed water and sewer service connections for future parcel developments. Served as District Engineer for the Midtown Miami
<br /> Community Development District (CD D). The project consisted of 14 development blocks, which required extensive coordination
<br /> with multiple developers, design professionals, and contractors. The project was within the jurisdiction of the City of Miami, Miami-
<br /> Dade County, FDOT, Miami-Dade DERM, FDEP, and the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (and also required
<br /> coordination and approvals from these agencies). Firm fee: $3.5 million; total project cost: $650 million.
