Plans and specifications were developed to repair both the concrete and aluminum components of the docks in order to return the facility to its original condition. Construction phase services were also provided to assist the Town administer the unit price contract. Serves as the project manager for this roadway beautification project along one of the Town's most prestigious roadways. This project was brought to life by a group of property owners along the Avenue who wish to revitalize the area and bring it back to its former glory. The project includes the construction of a new roadway section, replacement and modification of various underground utilities, replacement of sidewalks with decorative tabby concrete, and the introduction of many landscaping and architectural elements throughout the corridor. Firm fee: $467,000; design cost: $1.4 million (total); construction cost: $13.125 million (estimated). Served as project manager for the replacement of an asbestos cement watermain along Old Boynton Road. This project was in response to the need to widen the road and replace an old wooden bridge. The new road's drainage system conflicted with the existing water main in numerous locations and, because it was constructed of asbestos cement, the City decided to replace the main in its entirety. This project also included the abandonment of a 16-inch force main, as well as an aerial crossing of the water main over a Lake Worth Drainage District (LWDD) canal. This project is ongoing; firm fee: $50,000. Served as project manager to perform a detailed drainage study of the existing stormwater collection and pumping system for these drainage basins, totaling almost 400 acres, located at the north end of the Town of Palm Beach. The purpose of the studies were to determine if the Town's existing stormwater collection system improvement master plan could be further optimized to reduce construction costs. Through our advanced modeling techniques, the Town was able to significantly reduce the cost of the original improvement program while maintaining the level of protection provided by the original plan.
