<br /> requirements to categorically exclude the project from the National Environmental Policy Act. Documentation was submitted to

<br />c. environmental assessments, dune cross over design, permitting including Coastal Construction Control Line permitting, traffic
<br /> analysis, and roadway design along SR AlA for this high end ocean front residential development. Detailed coordination was
<br /> required with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for the stormwater management system and for the coastal
<br /> permitting. Detailed sea turtle protection plans were prepared and approved by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation

<br /> Environmental task manager for the environmental resource permit (ERP) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Section
<br /> 404 dredge and fill permit. Worked with the client's previous design engineer to obtain the conceptual ERP. The project
<br /> involved approximately 30 acres of wetland impact and Kimley-Horn developed a mitigation plan that was a flow way concept
<br />d. that connected the mitigation on this site to mitigation within projects north and east of the site and allowed for future projects
<br />south and west of the site to connect to the overall flow way. The flow way on the Arlington Lakes site was the largest portion of
<br /> the overall flow way and was the central link between to previously permitted flow ways. Kimley-Horn was also hired to prepare
<br /> all site civil construction plans for a modified design and obtained all local government approvals for this modified plan.
<br /> Permitting required extensive coordination with USACE, South Florida Water Management District, the U.S. Environmental
<br /> Protection Agency, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The ERP and Section 404 permit applications involved extensive
<br /> alternatives analyses evaluations, secondary and cumulative impact assessments, and detailed mitigation and monitoring plan
<br /> preparation. The mitigation plan included an approximately 22-acre onsite mitigation area consisting of wetlands enhancement
<br /> and a mosaic of forested and herbaceous wetland creation. Firm fee: $24,030.
