BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size. and cost) <br /> Kimley-Horn recently completed engineering and design services for the Town of Palm Beach to develop a sanitary in-line booster <br /> pumping station at an existing re-pump facility owned by the City of West Palm Beach. Kimley-Horn and the Town had worked <br /> together years earlier to develop the concept of constructing this type of station to eliminate the existing repump facility that has <br /> been plagued by maintenance problems, odor control issues, and deterioration due to age. The new station will allow the Town to <br /> abandon the existing station and allow the City of West Palm Beach to convert the re-pump station into a storage facility. The <br /> proposed in-line booster station will handle approximately 5 MGD and boost pressures to pump the Town's wastewater west to the <br /> East Central Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility. <br /> Firm fee: $164,000. <br /> 25.
