I Specifications Preparation Et Construction Documents Having been in business for over 25 years, Fraga Engineers is extremely capable in the preparation of Construction Documents and Specifications. We have, for example, worked continuously for M-DCPS since 1981, which speaks volumes of our commitment and dedication to Client service and professional Construction Documents and Specifications. Our office has aided M-DCPS in reviewing and revising their District General Criteria and Master Specifications, a experience that would prove invaluable to the City of Sunny Isles Beach should they require this service. Construction Inspection and Construction Management Fraga Engineers understands that, without proper construction inspections and management, it is impossible for a project to be successful. Due to our extensive experience as both Engineer of Record and Design Criteria Professional, which has allowed our firm to act as an Owner's Representative on several projects (including Miami-Dade Fire Rescue's Logistics Facility) we understand how to work together with the AlE team and/or Contractor to achieve a successful project. By avoiding an adversarial relationship, while still maintaining the highest standards for quality and workmanship, our firm can deliver a high quality, on budget facility to the Owner. Open End Contracts Fraga Engineers has become a specialist in the open-end contract field, having performed numerous contracts for various governmental agencies, including Miami-Dade County HUD, Miami-Dade County GSA, Miami-Dade County Fire Rescue Department, and US Postal Service. Our firm was awarded a Continuing Services contract at Miami International Airport, with a cap of $750,000 for engineering fees. We were also awarded a Continuing Services contract at MIA for the Chiller plant, with a construction cost not to exceed $8 million. Fraga Engineers was also recently awarded a Continuing Services contract at the Port of Miami, with engineering fees not to exceed $100,000 and a Continuing Services contract with the Village of Palmetto Bay. Our firm was awarded a Continuing Services contract with Miami-Dade County HUD that was used to provide over $10 million of construction work, including MEP upgrades and ADA upgrades. A Continuing Services contract with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department yielded a total constructed value of over $4 million, with our firm acting as DCP for the Saga Bay Fire Rescue Station, Honey Hill Fire Rescue Station, West Kendall Fire Rescue Station, Uleta Fire Rescue Station, and the Hialeah Gardens Fire Rescue Station. Fraga Engineers was also awarded a Continuing Services contract with Miami-Dade County GSA, which was used to provide over $6 million of construction work, including MEP upgrades and ADA upgrades.
