The design included foundation, structure, MEP <br />for a 22m x 25m (type 11) Super Kspan building 22m x 50m. <br />the building is to be used for warehouses and <br />maintenance support and will include, but no be limited <br />to: electrical distribution, (HV AC) Heating, Ventilation <br />and Air Conditioning. This building is designed per wind, <br />snow and seismic requirements. <br /> <br />The Design standards required included: Unified Facilities <br />Criteria (UFC), the United States National Fire Protection <br />Association (NFPA) 70, National Electrical Code (NEC), <br />the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) C2, and <br />the United States National Electrical Safety Code (NESC). <br /> <br />This building is the largest Kspan structure for a private <br />company in Afghanistan. This building was designed <br />using the Kspan method of building and construction. <br />The K-span building system consists of a self-contained, <br />metal building manufacturing plant, UBM System/Ultimate <br />Building Machine. This machine is mounted on a trailer, <br />fonning a type of "mobile factory" that is easily towed to <br />even the remotest construction sites. <br /> <br />Project Value: $325,000 <br />Contract Value: $ 55,000 <br /> <br /> <br />25.
