This project is to provide logistical air <br /> <br />freight access within the secured perimeter of BST. <br /> <br />Services were provided to upgrade the civil aviation facility and <br />to provide for construction for paving of the 2,000 meter <br />runway to a width of 30 meters with a 10cm thickness of <br />asphalt plus 5 meter DBST shoulders and grade and provide <br />drainage channels to either side.. <br /> <br />Electrical services included installation, testing, and <br />commissioning the rehabilitation of Lashkar Gah Electrical <br />substation with a new separate II 0/20kV, 20MV A substation, <br />complete with seven 20kV feeder bays and transformers. <br /> <br />VICC also completed the grading and compaction ofa road track <br />within the perimeter fence and repaired and improved the <br />existing wire fence. <br /> <br />The Ag Center is to be a sustainable platform among which <br />many economic reconstruction efforts will begin.
