BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost.) <br /> <br />Keith and Schnars is currently providing roadway and drainage improvements along SW 157'" Avenue for Miami Dade County, <br />This project includes the reconstruction and widening of two miles of SW 157 Avenue from SW 184'" Street to SW I 52nd Street. <br />The new roadway configuration includes the expansion of SW 157'" Avenue, from a two-lane road to a four-lane divided roadway <br />with curb and gutter, 12 foot grass median and the addition of a 6 foot sidewalk. Changes in roadway geometry include alteration <br />of the existing profile to facilitate highway drainage and insure that current roadway design standards were met. The proposed <br />stormwater management system will consist of curb and gutter for conveyance; the primary measure used in water quality and <br />storm-water run-off attenuation is exfiltration trenches commonly referred to as "French Drain", which was approximately 2 miles <br />in length. Exfiltration trenches were designed to achieve minimum water quality and water quantity standards established by DERM <br />and SFWMD. The project also proposes the installation of 45 foot metal lighting poles and two service points along the <br />southbound of the project. <br /> <br />Signing and marking and the installation of four traffic mast arms and pedestrian signals, at the intersection of SW 157'" Avenue and <br />SW 152nd Street, is also part of the improvements for the project. <br /> <br />Design Fees: $322,6/2 <br /> <br />25.
