The drainage design <br /> includes drainage calculations, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and development of the drainage design plans. The analysis <br /> consists of performing hydraulic calculations for different alternatives for the existing conditions and post conditions using <br /> ADICPR; water quality and water quantity permitting calculations; and pre-development and post-development drainage <br /> modeling. This 3R project primarily consists of milling and <br /> resurfacing with shoulder widening of State Road 76/Kanner Highway for a project length of 7.96 miles. The typical section <br /> was a rural two lane undivided roadway consisting of two 12' travel lanes and paved shoulders which vary from 2' to 5' with <br /> shallow roadway swales along the outside of the roadway, several cross drains with the ultimate discharge to the St. Lucie <br /> Canal (C-44), located along the north side of the corridor. Project consist of the development of a Resurfacing, Restoration and Rehabilitation (3R) Scoping Report for US-1 <br /> from North of Jo-Jean Way to South of Camelot Drive. The project is based on the improvements to the evacuation time for <br /> the Florida Keys to reduce it to less than 24 hours and based on the improvements to the pavement conditions along the <br /> project segment.
