<br />City of Sunny Isles <br />RFQ No. 10-04-01 <br /> <br />Professional Engineering Services <br /> <br />Miami-Dade College - Since 2008, Mr. Velinov is the Project Manager for the continuing services <br />contract at MDC. He has provided mechanical engineering services for multiple Air Handling Unit <br />replacements at the North Campus, the Wolfson Campus and the Kendall Campus. Also, we were <br />selected to provide LEED consulting, Commissioning and Peer Review for the Culinary Arts Center. <br />PGA Resort - Mr. Velinov also headed the effort to renovate multiple areas of the PGA National Resort <br />in Palm Beach Gardens. TLC provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering <br />for upgrades at the main entrance, member's clubhouse, pool deck, conference rooms, etc. The project <br />was developed in phases and the Resort remained operation during the construction phase. <br /> <br />ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING <br /> <br />Marile Borino, EI, LEED AP - Electrical Engineering/Sustainable Leader <br />5757 Blue Lagoon Drive, #400, Miami, Florida 33126 <br />Tel: 305.266.6553/ Cell: 305.619.0522 <br /> <br />Ms. Borino has more than 15 years of experience filled with a diversity in project types and excellent <br />relationships with her clients. She has provided electrical engineering design for different types of <br />projects from high-end luxury restaurants to a nine-story state-of-the-art medical office building. <br />Several clients have benefit from her creativity in Sustainable Design, for example giving innovative <br />solutions to reduce energy costs and increase daylight. She is an outgoing person ready to take any <br />challenges and bring you always a solution with a smile. <br /> <br />Ms. Borino holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami and is the <br />leader of Sustainable Design in TLC Miami. Her experience includes: <br /> <br />Gazit Group USA -Project Manager for this office renovation that received LEED Silver Certification for <br />Commercial Interiors in 2009. The 8,200 sq. ft. build out includes daylight sensors in all individual <br />offices, occupancy sensors are installed in open spaces and restrooms. The shower head is low flow and <br />the faucets are low flow and solar powered. These and other sustainable strategies were designed not <br />only to achieve the LEED certification but also to improve the office environment and save energy costs <br />to the owner. TLC provided MEP engineering and LEED services. <br />Office Renovations - Recently, Ms. Borino has provided electrical engineering services for various <br />renovation projects, for example, Turnberry Office Improvements (Aventura, FL), LNR Building <br />Renovations (Miami Beach, FL), MTV Networks Office (Miami Beach, FL), Columbus Networks (North <br />Miami, FL), Motorola (Plantation, FL) and Arquitectonica IntI.
