Our team has also demonstrated its capabilities to obtain environmental permits required for all drainage improvement projects, an effort which includes agency coordination, permit sketches and permit applications. We have developed excellent relationships with agencies such as: SFWMD, FOEP, USACOE and DERM. Our broad capabilities and experience in complex stormwater management system was demonstrated in the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) Drainage Master Plan, where APCTE was responsible for the coordination with all permitting agencies as well as with the other four design consultants for the development of one Drainage Report and obtaining one ERP for all roadway projects. Another good example of our previous experience was the SR-836 Stormwater Pumping Station located at the southeast infield area of the SR-836 / NW 37 Ave Interchange; this project was geared to relieve street flooding for this neighborhood of the City of Miami. Electrical Design - The design for lighting improvements for both major roadways and residential areas must be aesthetically pleasing while providing a uniform lighting level that will ensure public safety. A&P's personnel have a significant level of experience in the area of lighting design. This includes municipal lighting projects such as those completed for the City of Miami Capital Improvement Program, which included the installation of a custom manufactured decorative pole mounted fixture along NW 14th Street from Le Jeune Road to Douglas Road. We have performed several lighting design projects in FOOT's roadways. We have also been involved in different Lift Station projects such as; North Beacon Lift Station with the design of two 60hp pumps for the Town of Medley; as well as Lift Station for Miami-Dade County, City of Miami, etc. Our range of experience in this field captures: Electrical/Lighting Design of Roadway, Lift Station Facilities, Commercial, Industrial, Health Care, Shopping Centers, Condominiums, the design of the Intelligent Traffic System for SR-112 Toll Plaza, and total new lighting for the SR-826/SR-836 Interchange. Our Electrical Design Section has vast experience in the selection, specification and testing of engine-generators. This included the engine, main fuel and day tanks, fuel transfer system, mufflers, electric generators, automatic transfer switch operations, electrical load tests and emergency shut down operations. A key example in this category was the selection, permitting, and testing of Sanitary lift station 101 in Miami-Dade County. A provision was also provided for this lift station in order to be able to connect an emergency 250KW stand-by generator. CEI Services - We believe the firm's successful history demonstrates our commitment to excellence in the performance of these services. We believe the firm's depth of experience with respect to its construction engineering and inspection personnel will be invaluable in meeting and/or exceeding the expectations of the City. We are currently performing CEI services as a prime to different clients such as; the City of Miami Beach (Nautilus Neighborhood lOB in Middle Beach); FOOT District 6 to the NW 25th Viaduct from the Palmetto Expressway to the Miami International Airport Cargo Area; City of Doral Canal Stabilization Program; FDOT District IV for the installation of an ITS System along 1-75; and Miami-Dade Public Works Department (Several Locations). PROJECT TEA M: A&P Consulting Transportation Engineers Corp. (A&P) will be ultimately responsible for the execution of this contract. ~-~ 't. - l ~..
