Sierra, P.E. (A&P) Senior Roadway Engineer - Mr. Sierra graduated (Magna Cum <br />Laude) from Florida International University with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in <br />1995. He has over 15 years experience in the design of highway facilities. He dedicated his first <br />three years providing Microstation, GEOPAK, CAICE, and Plans Preparation technical support to <br />Florida, Illinois, and Mississippi Department's of Transportation. He is highly experienced, and is <br />currently working as Senior Project Manager in (urban and rural new construction, total <br />reconstruction and resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation) (RRR) projects including <br />Roadway, Signing & Pavement Markings, Signalization, and Intelligent Transportation System <br />components. Mr. Sierra is also experienced in Water & Sewer Main design, Right-of-Way plans, intersection <br />layouts, ATMS plans, Specifications, Technical Special Provisions, and Utilities Coordination & Permits. He is <br />certified by FOOT for preparation of Advance Traffic Control Plans. He has designed and managed several (water <br />& sewer) projects for Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department and the City of Miami Beach, including pipeline <br />design, Technical Special Provisions, Utilities and Permits Coordination. <br /> <br /> <br />Arnelio Alfonso, P.E., (A&P) - Senior Water Resources/Drainage Engineer - Mr. Alfonso has ~ <br />over 24 years of experience on Design of Water Distribution and Sanitary Sewer and <br />Stormwater Management Systems. Mr. Alfonso is currently in charge of the company's Water -;;. ~j <br />Resources Department, leading the Design of Storm Water Management Systems, Water <br />Distribution and Sanitary Sewer. Mr. Alfonso also has experience in obtaining Environmental <br />Permits associated with proposed Stormwater Management Systems. Among his most relevant <br />projects are: Sanitary Sewer Lift Station 101 (MDWASD), Water Main along N.W.jN.E. 103rd <br />Street; Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) Water and Sewer Improvements; NW 25th Street - 36- <br />inch Force Main; NW 37th Avenue/Transit Access Road - 24-inch Force Main; Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) <br />Drainage Master Plan; SR-836 / N.W. 14th Street Drainage Pump Station; Bridge Hydraulic Analysis of the NW 12 <br />Ave. bridge over the Miami River; Perrine/Cutler Ridge Water and Sewer Improvements; and SR-826/SR-836 <br />Interchange Bridge Hydraulic Analysis which included the North Line Canal, Venetian Canal, and Airport Canal. <br /> <br /> <br />Eduardo Martinez, P.E. (A&P) Senior Electrical Engineer - Mr. Martinez, as the Electrical <br />Department Manager, has more than 28 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field. <br />He graduated with a Bachelor in Science Degree in Electrical Engineer in 1979 from the <br />University of Havana and received his Florida Professional Electrical Engineering Registration in <br />1997. During his professional career he has been involved in the design of several different Lift <br />Station electrical design projects. Mr. Martinez is a member of the "National Fire Protection <br />Association". Mr. Martinez has vast experience in the selection, specification and testing of <br />engine-generators. This included the engine, main fuel and day tanks, fuel transfer system, <br />mufflers, electric generators, automatic transfer switch operations, electrical load tests and emergency shut <br />down operations. A key example in this category was the selection; permitting and testing of Sanitary lift station <br />101 in Miami-Dade County. <br /> <br />Rogelio Varona, P.E. (A&P) Senior Mechanical Engineer - Mr. Varona is a senior mechanical <br />engineer with over 39 years of experience in the mechanical engineering field. He graduated <br />from the University of Florida in 1967 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and <br />worked for Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department since 1980 in different departments, <br />including: Systems Engineering Unit, CD/SA Management Section Head; Hydraulic Unit Head <br />and Mechanical Design Unit Head.
