<br />Project Manager and Architect of Record, The Joint
<br />Institute of Biological Sciences, , The University of
<br />Tennessee, Oak Ridge, TN, 09/2004 -10/2006. The
<br />project is a biological laboratory located at the Oak
<br />Ridge National Laboratory. It is approximately 35,000
<br />square feet and three stories containing 19 laboratories
<br />with support offices, lobby space, eating area and
<br />conference spaces.

<br />Responsibilities included architectural oversight of
<br />construction drawings, specifications and bidding
<br />documentation, project management, coordination with
<br />multi-discipline teams of engineers, proposal writing,
<br />project man-hour estimating, procurement of
<br />consultants outside the company, construction
<br />observation and administration, client contact,
<br />coordination with administration for invoicing and
<br />collection, coordination with municipalities having
<br />jurisdiction over the projects, setting company policy,
<br />marketing and interviewing of possible new hires.

<br />The following is a summary of key projects:
<br />Project Architect, Campus Point Apartments, Bostic
<br />Development, Inc., Knoxville, TN, 08/2003 -
<br />09/2004. A multi-family student apartment complex in
<br />the old farmer's market district of historic Fort Sanders
<br />in Knoxville. The complex included 183 story
<br />apartment buildings housing nearly 1200 beds and
<br />included a gymnasium building, pool and student activity
<br />center building and apartments for parental visits. The
<br />design was based on modern planning principles of
<br />separating the vehicular from pedestrian traffic by
<br />providing parking lots on the periphery of the
<br />development on tracks of land across the streets from
<br />the apartments. The apartments then provided
<br />courtyards for pedestrian activity and green space. The
<br />design was a collaboration with the City of Knoxville
<br />Metropolitan Planning Department which assisted in the
<br />approvals, and provided helpful feedback on landscaping
<br />and land planning.

<br />Project Architect, Rivertowne Condominiums,
<br />Private Developer, Knoxville, TN, 06/2003 -
<br />09/2004. A new luxury condominium on the waterfrol
<br />on Fort Loudon Lake near down town Knoxville. The
<br />project consisted of five levels containing fifty
<br />condominiums with a single level parking garage for a
<br />total of 6 levels. The project required rezoning of the
<br />property to a Planned Residential Zone which included
<br />planning commission approval of the site and exterior
<br />building design.

<br />Project Architect, The KCDC Office Building, The
<br />Knoxville Community Development Corporation,
<br />Knoxville, TN, 06/2001 - 07/2003. The project
<br />consists of a renovation and addition to KCDC's
<br />existing office space and corporate headquarters. The
<br />existing 3500 square foot building received an additional
<br />two story 18,000 square foot addition to include the
<br />corporate board room, corporate offices, a new main
<br />entry, new administration areas and revised parking and
<br />landscaping.

<br />Project Architect, Jefferson Commons Apartments,
<br />JPI Construction, Inc., Knoxville, TN, 01/1998-
<br />07/1999. Multi-family residential student apartment
<br />complex spread out over five different sites in the
<br />historic Fort Sanders area of Knoxville. There are 11
<br />three story buildings housing over 200 individual
<br />apartments and 800 beds. The buildings were designed
<br />to fit into the community observing existing building
<br />setbacks and siting the parking at the rear of the sites to
<br />maintain green space on the main streets of Fort
<br />Sanders.

<br />Building, Private Developer, Knoxville, TN, 08/1996
<br />- 06/1998. A new corporate headquarters and leasable
<br />office space for the Mortgage Investors Group, Inc. It is
<br />three stories and 35,000 square feet of leasable office
<br />space designed to maximize a difficult site,

<br />Architect, First Utility District Water Treatment
<br />Facility, First Utility District, Loudon, TN, 03/1994
<br />- 06/1996. The construction consisted of three
<br />buildings, a pump house, water treatment facility, and
<br />equipment storage and maintenance facility. The pump
<br />house was constructed on the bank of Fort Loudon
<br />Lake and served as the main intake pump for water to be
