<br />Jesign Shoreline Stabilization - MSA requested from the City of Miami electronic copies of existing as-built plans
<br />.~flecting the most recent improvements at Margaret Pace Park. MSA also, obtained a Design Ticket from Sunshine State
<br />One Call of Florida, Inc. and requested as-built information from utility companies listed as having potential utilities within
<br />the project area. In addition, MSA requested peI1inent underground records from the City's Department of Public Works.
<br />We utilized the electronic survey to prepare engineering base map on which we depicted the proposed shoreline
<br />stabilization improvements. Our plans identified the contractor access route through the park and the designated staging
<br />area. A plan view depicting the limits of the improvements was prepared utilizing the engineering base map and typical
<br />sections depicting the stabilization elements as well as the location of the sea grass line, the mean high and low water line,
<br />the construction baseline as well as the existing concrete walk way will be included in the plans.
<br />Playground Grading - MSA coordinated with the
<br />City of Miami Capital Improvements
<br />Department staff to identify the location of the
<br />proposed playground. Based on this information
<br />and the electronic as-built information received,
<br />we prepared a grading plan of the playground
<br />area. The plan identified the required elevations
<br />and required base material on which the future
<br />playground will be built.
<br />
<br />Permitting - MSA prepared and processed the
<br />permit application for the DERM Class-I and the
<br />DEP ERP permit. We coordinated and attended a
<br />pre-submittal meeting with DERM and with DEP
<br />at their West Palm Beach office. MSA explained
<br />the nature of the project and familiarized the
<br />.gulatory staff with the project.
