POINT OF CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER (305) 446-7799 (Prime) The Miami-Dade County Park and Recreation Department (PARD) is proposing to construct a new maintenance facility within the boundaries of the Matheson Hammocks Park. Milian, Swain & Associates, Inc. (MSA) is providing environmental engineering services for this project. MSA scope of services includes: Environmental Engineering & Permitting Services: Aerial View of Matheson Hammocks Park and the proposed relocation · Delineate the project wetlands using the currently accepted methodologies by the US Army Corp of Engineers (US ACE), the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and the Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM). . · The MSA biologist is utilizing colored flagging to delineate the jurisdictional wetland boundary. The wetland delineations are being marked on an available County aerial or topographic survey. Other field information including the completion of COE Wetland Determination Data Sheets and a Uniform Mitigation Assessment Method (UMAM) are also being performed. Conduct a preliminary wildlife survey during the wetland delineation to determine presence of any listed plant or animal species. The MSA biologist will meet on-site one time with the SFWMD and COE to verify the delineated wetland and existing mangrove boundaries. Coordinate with the Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) survey personnel following field verification by ACOE and SFWMD, regarding location of flagged wetland areas and Mangrove boundaries, and review the resulting delineation survey for accuracy prior to agency submittal. Develop a mitigation plan based on the final site design and anticipated impacts to wetlands and mangroves for on-site mitigation and/or purchase of credits from an approved offsite mitigation bank. Attend pre-application meeting with each environmental permitting agency. Coordinate the submittal of an Environmental Resource Permit (E.R.P.) application with the team's civil engineering consultant by completing and preparing the environmental portions of the ERP application. MSA will submit the necessary environmental documentation to the civil consultant for their subsequent submittal of the ERP to the regulatory agencies. . . . . .
